The room we occupied was spacious, with a remarkably comfortable bed and effective air conditioning-an essential, given the Salvador sun. The cleanliness was commendable, and basic housekeeping ensured everything remained tidy and fresh. Breakfast served daily was a highlight, offering a delightful start to the day. Coupled with the internal courtyard, which is ample enough for morning exercises, it showcased an inviting atmosphere at the inn. The staff were notably kind and welcoming, enhancing the sense of comfort and hospitality which can often be lacking in larger establishments. With competitive pricing-slightly above the very basic hostels-Pousada Barroco is a wise choice for those seeking charm without compromising on essential amenities. I would surely consider staying here again on my next visit to Salvador.
